Frequently asked questions
How can I hide text in an image?
Choose Image and an artwork, enter your message and key, then download the picture. Share the key separately and test the copy received from the platform. Cropping and heavy processing can destroy the message.
Is it safe to share the decoding key?
Send the key separately from the encoded text or image, ideally through a different trusted channel. Anyone with both can read the message. A randomly generated key is stronger than a short personal phrase; hidden.irish cannot recover a lost key.
What is steganography?
Steganography is hiding the presence of a message inside something ordinary, such as writing or a picture. Encryption protects the message contents; hiding only disguises where it is. hidden.irish uses experimental hiding that may be detected or lost when the carrier is changed.
