Privacy

Hidden.Irish encrypts messages and experimentally conceals encrypted data in writing or pictures. This notice describes the hidden.irish website.

Messages and keys

When encrypting or decrypting, your message or encrypted token and decoding key go to the Hidden.Irish server. The application does not store them. Images are normally processed in your browser; only the extracted token and key are sent to the server. Do not enter secrets unless you trust this site and its hosting.

Convenient reading and device sharing

The Share dialog sends only an encrypted carrier: a picture, text file or copied text/token. It never includes the key. Text files retain invisible characters and the site shares images without an extra conversion. A receiving application may still alter data; test the received copy. Keys are not written to persistent browser storage.

After installation, supported browsers may accept text or a picture through Share → Hidden.Irish. An active service worker holds at most two separate transfers in memory for up to 60 seconds, delivering each once only to its intended window; worker termination may lose it. The URL contains a random routing ID, not the content or key. If the worker is inactive, a file request may reach hosting; the application's fallback does not parse, echo or store its body. Choose the file or paste the text again instead. This experimental feature depends on the device; decryption requires internet access and sends the token and key to the server.

AI and browser data

Google sign-in is required only for free AI text creation. Encryption, reading and the library remain account-free. Google Identity Services loads after you press the sign-in button. The server verifies, but does not retain, the Google token; a signed one-day HttpOnly cookie contains a pseudonymous account identifier, display name and session-protection data. Shared Upstash storage holds only request counters with pseudonymous identifiers; these expire one minute after their daily or minute window ends. Messages, keys and carrier descriptions are not stored in accounts or counters. Signing out clears the browser session. Failed generation attempts also count. Signing in does not transfer your personal Gemini allowance or subscription to this site.

The optional carrier description searches the library by author, title and genre without AI. Only a separate generation button sends this description, style and language to the selected provider. Do not put secrets or private information in the description. If free Gemini is configured, Google may use these requests to improve its products. The generation request never includes the secret message, decoding key or encrypted token. Previews remain in tab memory; encoding does not automatically generate another carrier. The free mode has no paid fallback.

If you explicitly choose OpenAI generation, your API key remains in this tab's memory and is sent to the server for that request. Your secret message, decoding key, and encrypted token are not included in the OpenAI request. Your browser may store IDs of works already shown to avoid repeats; messages and keys are not stored there.

For image creation, Gemini translates the description and plans panels when a comic is requested. The resulting description and rendering style go to Cloudflare Workers AI (FLUX.2 Klein 9B). Neither provider receives the secret message or decoding key. The resulting picture is processed in your browser.

Google Analytics

Only after you agree, the site loads Google Analytics 4 and sends page views for the English, Russian, and Spanish home pages. GA4 also records standard session-start and first-visit events. We send the canonical page URL without query or fragment, a generic page title, and the referring origin only. We do not send form interactions, messages, keys, or tokens. Enhanced automatic event collection and advertising signals are disabled. Google may process technical device and browser data, IP-derived approximate location, and analytics cookies.

Declining does not load the Google Analytics tag. Your choice is kept in this browser's local storage. You can change it with “Analytics settings” in the home-page footer. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.
